I haven't posted since last year, and there's been so much going on during that time. The world is no long
er the same.
I spent the second half of 2019 battling breast cancer and the side effects from the chemo and radiation. Needless to say, I was one of those patients who barely tolerated treatment. I found myself spending most of that time in and out of the hospital (including one stay in the ICU).
Fortunately for me there was a positive light at the end of the tunnel. I'm grateful that I'm cancer-free and the other underlying conditions are in check.
Surely 2020 would be a far better year than 2019, wouldn't it?
Enter the pandemic of Covid19. Needless to say age and underlying health issues made my stay in quarantine longer than most. Even as the restrictions are lifted, I find myself still isolating myself.
On the upside quarantine has given me more time to write and catch up from months of being idle in 2019. Earlier this year I released the fourth book of the MacLeods of Skye series, Taming Lily. Recently, TL received a 4 1/2 star review (with a crowned heart) from IndTale magazine.
Wicked is the Duke followed, which is the fourth book in the Mayfair series.
Up next? November 17th is the scheduled release day for a brand new series (Love and Devotion). The first book is Wish Upon A Duke.
January 2021 will bring Once A Lady, the fifth book in the Mayfair series. I wrote this book as a conclusion to the ending of Wicked is the Duke. Lady Caroline is the heroine and we find just what became of her after her desperate plead to the duke of Blackmont.
Both books are available for preorder through all fine booksellers for $0.99. This price will be good through release day. Links can be found at my website: www.jamiesalisbury.com.
Stay healthy and safe. I'll post again soon (and I promise it won't be a year).
